Once there was a little boy who was a gift from god to his family. He had some great friends, but his greatest friend was his mom. She was just different than the other moms. She believed in him. While they were going
through sad times, hard times and everything life threw or gave them, she was
always in his heart and it felt like home whenever he was with her. Theyd play
together and have long talks. Laugh, cry and enjoyed each other. She always
thought he was the best football and basketball player in the whole world. At
least that was what others saw in her eyes. They knew he thought of her as she
was special. 

You know, sometimes all children wished their moms were more like that. Then one day she received a call. There was a big silence fell upon her face of the news she just had heard. When she walked in the front door his dad
was talking to the doctor, and she was scared for him. They said she could only
talk to her son for a minute, and when she silently went into the room and saw
him lying on the bed she smiled and whispered, Hey superman.Thats what she
always called him ever since he was brought into her world. 

She said he always had a big heart. He said, Mom, Im going away and I wont be coming back. But I dont want you to cry or feel any other way but happy for me. Someday you
will follow but for now I need for you to be strong for me and let me do what
God as called me to do for him. Big tears came into her eyes and she said, I
know in my heart it will never be the same without you but I promise to stay
strong for you and honor your wish. I will strive to better my spirit everyday
so I may have a chance to see you once again. I will follow you. I promise you I
will follow.

I know you will take a piece of my heart with you and its the best gift I could give you my boy. And until angels come and close my eyes I know I cant imagine this life without you but just promise me you will show me
you will be ok. And he whispered to her and he said, Mom dont cry God gave me
sixteen years to be with you more than most boys are with their moms in their
whole lifetime. I knew this day was coming mom. God choose me to be a Gift for
you and Dad and my brothers and sisters. I finished what I came to do. And he
said, MOM, theres a secret, and I never want you to forget it. Share it with my
brothers and sisters and father. I preached it in words and I walked in my ways
and I showed my purpose here on earth. 

It was to teach everyone about what it means to be a FAMILY and what it means to TRULY LOVE. This is Gods teaching I share with you it is that Families are forever, and even though you wont see me,
Ill still be there watching over you, and waiting for you. And she said, But,
son if I cant see you, well then, how will I know youre there And he thought a
minute and then he smiled and answered, Ill build you a rainbow way up high
above, send down a lukewarm feeling full of love, sprinkle down raindrops, you
will have teardrops of happiness. 

Ill do this so you can be in high spirits because than you will know I will be watching over you my Family, she kissed him, she closed his eyes, he took a final breath and was gone. As she hugged him
closely and tears began to flow from her eyes as she broke down and started to
cry. And everyone held onto him and held each other real tight and he had tears
from his eyes too. And then she remembered the secret, she looked up and sure
enough, there it was, right over them a big rainbow, just like he said! She
thought, Son you were right everything is going to be ok now, because she
understood now that Families are forever!! 

"'His voice can still be heard through his families hearts since he now is a guardian angel up above. He says Mom, we were young before and you wanted to protect us, but now we're all here
for you. We're a family and we want to know what you're feeling so we can help
you get through it, and that was very powerful to hear because of her belief and
the signs her son has given to help protect her spiritual path he has set for
her. By his teaching that families are forever they can now stand together
through anything with the power of prayer. 

They all admire the way their mother was able to carry herself throughout the entire experience. You're still my mother, our mother, which will never change he whispers to her heart. She
says, "I guess what's been hard for me is just facing up to the fact that at
some point, I knew I was going to have to say goodbye to each of you and I hope
that's not soon. But I guess a part of me thinks it could be anytime." I always
thought I would be the first. If there was anything she could change in terms of
her broken heart, it would be to have been able to give her son more encouraging
things in life, so that she would not have had the fear of losing her son. 

 
"Dont ever think you never gave us enough because god gave to you us as our mother for a purpose. He knew how you would give us back to him because he
judged your heart in found a loving heart. We love you and you have always been
a gift from God because of how you taught us how to respect life, how we should
live life. You taught us about how a mother who is faithful to God and her
family are so much blessed by God. We can point out our mother is blessed. She
really made great sacrifices in order to let them feel free and be known to God.
As this is what I think she said, "I have no treasures and properties that you
can carry on in the future, but only through God, you may have a better life. He
is a treasure that you can possess anywhere you go. Just believe in trust in him
for everything you go through in life. 

Sometimes, they can see her crying because of hers and their hardships, but it did not mean that she will give up everything. She never tried hard to allow them not to do it instead; she
encouraged them to go on in take care of themselves. But they do admire her for
being so helpful to the poor and needy. She cannot refuse to give when someone
is in dire need. Even just what little she has, she still takes it to lend it to
the poor who approached her for help. Her greatest dream is that they would find
a way for themselves and keep their focus on God. Believe me; its all by the
grace of God, that God gave her to them. Those painful years had gone, and now
they pray that she is happy to reap what she had sown. Hopefully, before she
takes her last breath shell turn to them and say, My children, I'm very happy
that you found your way, and I can't imagine having been through any of this
without all of you. 

Your brother and my son?s life was and too all those who continue to believe in his message and Gods Love for us is something we may or not ever understand completely. But, what we should embrace is the way his life
was represented afterwards by the countless number of lives his life affected
through God. To this day he is still a Gift from God. Through all his
accomplishments here on earth he showed them the value of what Gods love can
really be like. If we just believe. His message was and is always about FAMILY. 

 
Through anything and everything anything is possible with GOD. As they sit here and wonder if he wouldve stayed here with them, and knowing this thought is
selfishness. They wonder if they would still think or say the same things about
him or realize what a Gift our life truly is. They wonder if they would realize
how compassionate and loving God truly is. Through their brother he showed them
just a glimpse of what is in store for everyone if we continue or start to
believe.

It is really hard to lose someone you love so much and to have the strength to be happy and try to live your life the best you can through God's promises everyday so you can see the one you love again. Seems like time is
moving so fast and people are forgetting what this life is all about. We are
told that this world we are born into isn?t it because we are promised so much
MORE.

Losing someone is hard especially in death. It's hard to cope especially if the person you've lost is someone that has been your anchor and where your world has revolved for so many years it could be your parent or your
child. No matter where you look at it, it's not just a physical loss but an
emotional one as well. Love and Choice are two very special abilities God has
built within us. You can choose to accept His love, choose the love expressed by
Jesus dying in your place on that cross. You can also choose a life of sin. The
Bible promises everyone who believes in Jesus, the Son of God they will have
everlasting life. This world as it is today is not life. We are placed here to
live and learn and become free of sin so when we are called HOME we will have
everlasting life with Our Father. Now, each one of us in this world will set a
path for our loved ones to follow its up to us to walk in this path. . 

As a year turned into another year his mother spoke on behalf of her son and she voiced a message he left with her and she saidMy son youre a very powerful
spirit I will always believe in angels now. I know you knew that deep within
your heart. Because of how you carried yourself while you were with us. Even
though you made mistakes too it was because you were human just like us but the
mistakes you made were very few. You taught a lot of people about this life we
live. Some will remember and may you keep praying for those who havent figured
it out yet. Some days I am strong enough to handle a lot of things. 

Then there are days when I cant even handle the simplest things. I know its because I am hurting. I truly understand what you left us then there are times when I wont
understand everything. Some days I have a really hard time concentrating on
simple things in life. Some days I walk around with a really heavy heart where I
can barely stand up because I miss you so much. I know when I turn my focus on
God I know your there to uplift me because I feel him and you and my heart. I
believe God has a lot for you to do. 

I know you will never stop loving or watching over those you love. Keep being there for those you come to in their dreams. Youre a COMFORTER...AN ANGEL....A HEALER....a HERO...A SUPERMAN....Your
more than any words can ever describe you. You were sent to us for a reason. In
Gods eyes you fulfilled your promise to him. We fulfilled ours by loving you
with all our hearts. Even though he left this world the way he started, in the
hospital fighting to survive. His spirit was never defeated.
