Anointed fighters in preparing mentally for a fight should have no agenda other than resting in the Lord and listening to him. Let the Holy Spirit, through faith and prayer, dominate your direction. Do not try to manipulate what happens. Let the Holy Spirit determine the time, mood, and action.
Say “Holy Spirit, take over my life and give me your strength and power. I am going to flow with you today.”
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your request to God, which transcends all understanding and will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)
Consider the championship title of this peaceful mind set. We get the feeling of Christ in control. We get the benefits of following a God who loves us and will provide for us during the toughest battles!
“The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?”
“The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1)
