A. True
B. False

Answer

Round # 1 Correct Answer: The second crime is worse because it's isolated

Explanation

What does it mean to be taken to a second spiritual crime scene? The second crime scene is when we give in to the temptation or voice from the evil one and move from just thinking about sin to actually following through with it. Never allow yourself to be taken to a second crime scene. Crime scene #2 will be isolated and secluded, and the spiritual criminal can do anything he wants at his leisure, without fear of intervention. The second crime scene is always worse for you. Do everything at crime scene #1 to submit to God and resist being taken to crime scene #2, where the consequences are much worse - guilt, condemnation, depression etc. "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

Round # 2 Correct Answer: Pray in Jesus name for God to protect you

Explanation

“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation” (Psalm 91:14-16).

Round # 3 Correct Answer: Respectfully decline and ask them if you can pray with them

Explanation

"For, Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech" (1 Peter 3:10). "He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity" (Proverbs 21:23).

Round # 4 Correct Answer: Humbly use oral (verbal) de-escalation first to try to defuse and avoid the situation

Explanation

Use oral (verbal) de-escalation first in a confrontation. Just by humbly apologizing, saying you don't want trouble, could cool down a hot-tempered assailant. Don't use bravado. Allow your ego to be deflated, and for men that may mean in front of their wife or girlfriend. Your pride can get you seriously hurt. "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful" (Colossians 3:12-15).

Round # 5 Correct Answer: Submit to God, resist the spiritual criminal, enter God's rest

Explanation

"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

Round # 6 Correct Answer: My soul is kept by the power of God through Jesus Christ

Explanation

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39). "Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one” (John 10:25-30).

Round # 7 Correct Answer: Have power to demolish the enemy

Explanation

"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)..

Round # 8 Correct Answer: Keeping your mind focused on Jesus Christ and praying in the spirit

Explanation

Be a hard target by keeping your mind focused on Jesus Christ. Spiritual criminals look for something in us to give them opportunity to attack. When we keep our thoughts on Christ, we become a hard target. "You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal" ( Isaiah 26:3-4). And again: "Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace" (Romans 8:5-6).

Round # 9 Correct Answer: None of the above

Explanation

"The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The LORD is with me; he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man" (Psalms 118:6-8). And again: "“But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him" (Jeremiah 17:7).

Round # 10 Correct Answer: False

Explanation

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit's fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-23).
