if you can see by the inspiration of the Almighty that the obstacle is God’s challenge, spiritual (divine) emotions are released — faith, hope, confidence, peace, rest, encouragement, joy, thanksgiving, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and power. These positive emotions, the fruit of the spirit, energize you and propel you through and over and out of and above the obstacle, issuing in strength and triumph!
You may not win the fight your facing today or tomorrow. But nothing is too hard for almighty Christ! You do not have to settle for things as they are. YOU can change them! He that is in you is mighty, and He will make you an overcomer right where you are. You must overcome within yourself before you can expect to see changes in those about you.
“God is not out to kill or destroy men. Mankind is not His enemy! And God is not the enemy of mankind! God so loved the world that He gave His Son. God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. Jesus is the Saviour of the world and of all men. God does precision warfare. He doesn’t want to take any human casualties with Him. During the Gulf War we had precision warfare like never before. We’re learning how to take out military fields, airports, oil derricks, and military installations without harming the civilian population. Our fight is not with the civilian population. We must see that our Father is doing the same kind of warfare on the inside of us! He’s not out to get you — He’s after everything on the inside of you hat prevents HIS UNVEILING — He wants to be seen on the inside of you.
The more we are exposed to adverse circumstances, the more we have to wrestle with our environment, the more we are challenged by the world around us, the stronger we become! Anointed Fighter's, IF WE WOULD BE CHAMPIONS OF THE MOST HIGH, WE MUST BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT!
You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Psalm 16:11
Discouragement is a powerful, knock out blow. Before we can learn how to avoid this punch, kick or choke inside the cage of life, we must see it coming. Let’s look at some ways to defend ourselves against discouragement during the difficult rounds of the “good fight.”
1. Keep a positive attitude! We must choose to continue fighting with a positive attitude even during the most difficult rounds. We must keep our hands up at all times. Nobody else can make us negative; it is a fighting style that we alone choose when facing disappointments inside the cage of life.
2. You’re not alone! Every fighter is knocked down by the over-hand right of discouragement. Don’t think that you’re the only one who has ever been knocked off your feet by disappointments in life. Even the best fighters are taken down by discouragement from time to time. This simply cannot be avoided; it is the nature of the fight.
3. Discouragement can either be tapped out—or it can tap us out. The choice is ours. If we refuse to counter discouragement with God’s word, we are exposing our neck for the enemy of our souls to put us to sleep.
4. We must believe that our victory is in Christ. Once we realize the magnitude of what our Lord Jesus Christ has already accomplished for us, discouragement inside the cage of life looses its grip on us.
Are you stuck in the triangle choke of discouragement? If so, the breath of peace is being cut off by the second. Counter this choke by believing that the Father wants to lift you off the mat and get your life back on track with Him.
Remember, it is called a fight for a reason. However, we fight from victory, not for victory. Keep Fighting!
The question one must ask is: Which is a greater reality, the intensity of the fight or the presence of the Lord with us during the fight? This question sometimes cannot be answered until we have stood in the center of the cage and exchanged blows with adversity. It is then that the knowing moves from head to heart and the impact of the adversity taps out in God’s presence.
