If God appeared in a visible form and told you to go and walk down to the corner, and you didn't hesitate at all but walked right down to the corner, what would that be? That's right! Obedience. By the power of the Holy Spirit, Abraham saw God in the night. What did Abraham do? He believed God and in believing God it was counted unto him as righteousness. (Gal 3:6) The Lord appeared unto Abram, and said unto him, "I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect" (Gen 17:1). Is there… Continue

When Jesus returned to Capernaum, a Roman officer came and pleaded with him,“Lord, my young servant lies in bed, paralyzed and in terrible pain.” Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.” But the officer said, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed. I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, ‘Go,’ and they go, or ‘Come,’ and they… Continue

God is glorified in me. (Galatians 1:24)

Through Jesus Christ I receive the blessings of Abraham and the Holy Spirit. (Galatians… Continue

1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be… Continue

A New Mantle
2 Kings 2:8,9,13,14 - Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground. And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, "Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you? Less then a week now till my first fight, shouldn't I be anxious at all, shouldn't I be worried some, shouldn't I be only thinking about my fight and what I am going to do? Most fighters probably would, but praise the Lord I am not, sure I am excited, don't get me wrong, but I am not worried about what will happen.
As I've been preparing for this fight, the Lord has been gracious in showing me alot about patience, trust and seeking His kingdom first.

"For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:" Deuteronomy 10:17
We who really love the Lord serve a great and awesome God who does great things for us. When we take the time to examine our lives it should become readily evident how great God is to us. We can not always say we have been good and have done the right things all of the time, but we can say the Lord has always been good to… Continue

Ephesians 2:8 - "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God."
Paul says that grace save us "through faith." Faith unlocks the power of grace and releases it to function in our world--and faith itself is another gift of God. The difference between both gifts is, the grace-gift must be activated by the faith-gift.
1. Believe that God is "rich in mercy".
2. We must accept as true that God loves… Continue
