SO YOU WANT TO BE AN ANOINTED FIGHTER?

So you want to be an Anointed Fighter? The first thing that comes to mind is, “PRAISE GOD !” There will always be someone second guessing every decision you make, telling you that God surely won’t accept you! Look at all the bad things you have done. However, you will never make everyone around you happy. Know that “if you were still trying to please men, you would not be a servant of Christ.” (Galatians 1:10).

If you think you’re going to make the entire world happy by becoming an Anointed Fighter for Christ, better think again. “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-6)

I am just touching the tip of the iceberg here, but if you are like me and love the idea of becoming an Anointed Fighter for Christ then I invite you to “endure hardship with me like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. Nobody serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs- he wants to please his commanding officer. Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor’s crown unless he competes according to the rules. (2 Timothy 2:3-5). So, I praise God and thank him for bringing you into Anointed Fighter. Now, lets get to the mat.

For starters, you have to know the scriptures, the powerful word of God. Aside from the act of reading itself, you need to know exactly what the Holy Spirit is revealing to you. This is so necessary and so very important! Many people think being an Anointed Fighter is easy, and sometimes it can be. But many times you will endure persecution and will be forced to make split-second decisions that carry great consequences. You need to be able to know the difference between one submission and another, what body part of Christ is affected by the submission, what should the Anointed Fighter do to make it work, and what the Evil one does to try and neutralize it.

If you don’t know these types of things, you will be vulnerable to Satan’s attacks and doubt submissions. You will be slow in your Christ-Like decisions, hesitating because you are unaware of the true depth and power contained in the word of God!

You need to be ahead of the worldly game, anticipating what is going to happen next. This way, the spiritual battles will slow down for you instead of moving in fast forward. You need to be someone who has been in those positions before, felt what the “Arm bar of Adversity feels like, and know when someone is doing something wrong and is in trouble.

There are many people though out the world who are fighting to take Christ out of our society. These people are dangerous. Christ needs Anointed Fighters who understand the sacrifice made at Calvary and are willing to join “the good fight of the faith” (1 Tim 6:12).

Obviously the more knowledge you have about “The Way”, the more effective you will be on the spiritual battleground when fighting the forces of evil.
