Jesus told us not to fear other human opponents (Lk. 12:4-5). When we try to please others, when we fear what others may say or do to us, we place ourselves in a position of great vulnerability. Our lives no longer remain our own. We become captive to what others think, want, or threaten. We are to trust only the LORD and reverence him. In God is our safety, now, n' forever!

I wanted to take reality based martial arts and teach gross motor skills combined with a tradtional martial art teaching style. So many schools are filled with bullies the rest of us need a place to learn. I have students that range in age from 10 to 68. I am a member of karate for christ and am trying to find a way to fit more of my faith into my classes. I just found psalms 144:1 and hope to find more like this. Thanks for the links for the books. I have really wanted to find a good christian martial arts related book. I wish a good song and film was out their for christian fighters but the closest i have found is maam said knock you out where he atleat thanks the lord for his power. Also on body building.com fighting podcast this week john jones who won ufc 94 ended his interview by thanking the lord jesus christ. How or who do I contact about adding his picture to the site?
