Building a champion

God loves to build champions.  If you hang around long enough in his gym and your fighting style will begin to change. Punches of pain will be replaced with submissions of grace.  Anger will be knocked out and weak legs made strong. God will never leave a fighter unchanged.  He builds champions.

 

This might explain some of the pain in your life.  Being a champion requires enduring pain.  Training camp is not a walk in the park.  We don’t object when we win, we just groan when we loose.  He has high aspirations for you.  God envisions you with your hand raised in the end.  He won’t stop until he is finished… He wants you to be just like Jesus.

 

 

Remember, it is called a fight for a reason.  However, we fight from victory not for victory.  Keep Fighting!

 

Joy,... God desires to heal your wounds and take your pain and hurt from you. You know how you can love somebody so much, that you wish you could take their pain or suffering from them? That's how Jesus feels about us... He loves us so much that He paid the price for our emotional healing in the work on the cross!

Isaiah 53:4, "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted."

Ahhh,.. we are lifting you up in Christ sis. Proud of you.

NO FIGHTER can be seriously threatened by an enemy "without" until they have been corrupted and weakened by some enemy within. It is called a fight for a reason. However, we fight from victory, not for victory. Keep Fighting!

God never gets mired in our past failures. He is constantly viewing our lives with future success in mind. "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland" (Isa. 43:19). Someone once said, "When your memories are bigger than your dreams, you're headed for the grave." God wants to give us new dreams that are bigger than anything that has ever happened to us in the past.

Don't let past failures keep you from future successes.

That is so awesome to hear Joy! I love seeing/reading of Gods amazing power at work in peoples lives. Reminds of psalms 96 were it says to proclaim His amazing and wonderful deeds! Keep living in the gospel that you might live out the gospel.

Ps, I pray this website will encourage and strengthen you as it has me to be a light in a culture so often looked down by other christians. I personally can testify that the Lord has used me as His witness and I can only dream of how He is working throught. Keep strong n His strength!

Thanks Joy for those encouraging words. It's what I desire to be, a warrior strong for the Lord. Especially seeing how so many men have a sad view of what it really means to be a man of God. I hope your doing well, and may the Lord grant you good health and much wisdom in living out the gosple.
